Why we have an RV

[ UPDATE ] I first wrote this article in 2009. In 2010, we actually moved into old Puma. However, we found Puma to be a bit small, so we purchased an Open Range 399BHS which has plenty of room to live. We continue to enjoy living in an RV, living small, and living un-traditionally, but we lack for nothing. We hope you'll follow along with us as we live and learn in our little tiny "mansion on wheels".

We have a travel trailer ( RV ) because my wife actually lived in hers for 2 years! She lived in an RV for many reasons, but felt it was the most economical way for her to live and she had her eyes set on a non-traditional lifestyle.

I met her in 2008 and she explained that she lived in an RV with a bit of hesitation, but I thought it was cool and in 2009 we married [ 2011 still married and still going strong! ].

When we married, we moved into my apartment - nothing noteworthy - but big enough for two people. Her camper is a 29 foot travel trailer. Travel trailers hook directly to the bumpers of the tow vehicle.

So from July 2009 - Oct 2009 the camper sat.

Lonely little camper.

But we are bound and determined to use it and to live our lives with more adventure than we have had before (in 2009 - we're both in our mid 40's).

So now you know how we have an RV!
